Grafton Lanes Joins LBA & LWBA FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Grafton Bowling Center dba Grafton Lanes Transfer of Membership to Join the Lorain Bowling Associations approved by USBC August 1, 2014 Received today from USBC National officials Mike Donahue Manager of Association Development and Mike Larson Director of Associations and Membership Operations; came the official recognition and confirmation that the petition by Grafton Bowling Center to be re-assigned and transferred to the Lorain Jurisdictions is official and takes effect August 1, 2014. In March of 2014, representatives of Grafton Bowling Center began the process through the USBC to change their administrative affiliation to the Lorain Men’s and Women’s USBC Bowling Associations. The Lorain USBC BA conducted extensive research, evaluation and review of the Grafton petition and proposal. Acting as administrative agent for the review and in conjunction with the women’s association, President Groner submitted a letter of support on behalf of both the men’s and women’s associations to the USBC. Today official recognition and transfer of Grafton Lanes to the Lorain Associations oversight and administration was completed.
